Job Description:
A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative
responsible for managing accounts receivable and insurance
collections.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct follow-up on uncollected account balances through
communication with payors and patients
Research accounts using patient accounting applications and resolve
issues to bring in revenue
Assist in training new or existing staff and provide support for
team members as needed
Required Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or equivalent education
2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance
collections
Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid
insurance
Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes
Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
