SCHEDULE: Full Time TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0% - 10% COMPENSATION:
$87,428.00 to $169,806.00 base salary plus potential for variable
compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills,
qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit
Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range
for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected
class. About Our OpportunityOur Data Integration Engineer will be
responsible for implementing best practices around systems
integration, security, performance and data management. In
addition, our Lead role will be responsible for technical
leadership in the development, implementation, review and upgrade
of data integration and data provision. Ensures the implementation
of best practices around systems integration, security, performance
and data management. How You Will Spend Your Time
- Collaborate with business analysts and IT team members to
understand data requirements and the end-to end data flow.
- Identifying, designing and implementing internal process
improvements including re-designing infrastructure.
- for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and
automating manual processes.
- Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction,
transformation and loading of data from various data sources.
- Perform complex data analysis, data quality checks, and
troubleshoot data issues.
- Ensure high levels of data availability and quality,
maintaining optimal performance of the data integration
infrastructure.
- Document data integration procedures, including data lineage
and ETL processes.
- Monitor data integration jobs and proactively respond to system
alerts and issues, ensuring that data flows are accurate and
timely.
- Oversee the provision of data to the data marts, operational
systems and users . Minimum Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree
in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a
related field (or equivalent work related experience). 2-3 years
experience in data integration, data management, or a related
field. Responsibilities typically include:
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL (Extract,
Transform, Load) processes.
- Support mapping source data to destination systems and ensure
data integrity during transformations.
- Identify and report issues in integration processes and
escalate problems as needed.
- Document data integration processes and ETL workflows for
future reference.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
- Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area.
Mental & Physical RequirementsWhile engaged in this position, team
members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate
orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while
occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and
lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass
close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a
moderate noise level. This role may entail a blend of mental and
physical capabilities, requiring strong mental acuity,
problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as
