Job Description:
Job Description You will own the coordination and execution of
the daily operations for the assigned production value stream to
ensure that products are safely manufactured while delivering them
on time and to budget. The production value stream manager will
lead, and support cross-functional problem solving of complex
situations, provide clarity and focus to teams, and drive rapid
resolution of issues. They will own the SQDCP KPI's and be the lead
change agent to drive out waste throughout the manufacturing and
operating processes.This role will manage a cross-functional team
across a single production value stream product line, with direct
and indirect supervision of employees, across all operating shifts
and assigned supporting functions.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the
production value stream, including any coordination of changes with
scheduling, resource allocation, equipment, and workflow
management.Identify and lead activities that optimize production
processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining
quality standards and meeting production delivery
requirements.Accountable for SQDCP performance and reporting of
company KPI targets for their production value stream along with
identifying areas for improvement with corrective actions.Support
compilation of labor forecasts for both Estimates to Completion
(ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) for the support and touch
employees within their defined area.Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, including PMO, engineering, quality
control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and
execution of production plans.Lead, mentor, and create a One Team
mindset for an entire value stream team of supervisors, production
workers, and cross-functional teams providing guidance, training,
and performance feedback.Manage inventory levels and production
schedules to meet customer demands and minimize lead times.
Work with their Value Stream Leader
to develop strategies, prioritize, communicate, and manage
operational priorities and initiatives for the year.Supports the
implementation of new systems, procedures and work instructions,
and special projects supporting manufacturing and customer service
objectives.Ensures compliance with all company & OSHA regulated
safety requirements/standards, and environmental and ethical
requirements.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
US Citizen with DoD Secret Security
Clearance or the ability to obtain Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or other related
discipline and 10 years of experience or equivalent
experienceExperience in Manufacturing/Production Leadership,
including production control, manufacturing engineering, operations
excellence, and/or manufacturing qualityExperience in People
Management/Leadership, including leading daily operations in a
value stream managing both direct and indirect cross-functional
teamsAbility to lead and manage in a cross-functional environment
with complex issues and rapidly changing priorities and
assignmentsAbility to rapidly review, analyze, and implement
complex processesAbility to identify, adjust, and correct processes
and systems within a manufacturing ERP systemAbility to identify
and drive process improvements using lean manufacturing and
analytical/data driven methods in a cross-functional, matrix driven
environmentProven track record of strong collaboration and team
building skills in creating a one team environmentPreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
Graduate Degree in Engineering or
Manufacturing related disciplineExperience in Defense
(DoD)/Government Contracting environments Experience in Managing a
Union environmentExperience with the deployment and implantation of
Lean Manufacturing conceptsExperience in Production Planning and
Control within Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
systemExperience in Earned Value management (EVM) and Performance
Management through KPIs and MetricsExperience in Manufacturing and
Quality Engineering practices and instructionsStrong knowledge of
product launch processes with focus on Design for Manufacturing
conceptsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $127900 -
$217400Please note: This range is based on our market pay
structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
