• Job Details
• Must have oncology experience. Sickle cell experience and chemo certified are strongly preferred
• No block schedule
• 36 or 48 hours
• Their application must show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for Stepdown (SD) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU); ICU experience does not count towards SD/PCU experience at this facility
• Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6

  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
  • BLS & ACLS certifications are required - must be able to read and interpret strips
  • Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the High-Risk Respiratory Unit (HRRU) unless PAPR is offered/needed
  • 1.5 years experience and some level 1 or 2 preferred
  • Travel experience preferred
    • Schedule Information
    • Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
    • Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
    • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for 8-week contract
    • Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
      • Unit Specific Information
      • We are a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit
      • Specializing in oncology and hematology patients
      • Mixed acuity: Med Surg and Advanced Care patients
      • Seeing blood products and chemotherapy patients, among other skills
        • Additional Details
        • RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion
        • Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report; other certs not needed if listed on the application
