TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46260 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Neuro Trauma ICU Job Specialty: ICU Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night - 12x2 - 07 PM Guaranteed Hours: Please inquire for details Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Advanced skills in caring for critically ill trauma, neuro, and surgical patients Job Description: - Join our team of highly skilled and dedicated nurses. - Provide care in a 24-bed Critical Care Unit specializing in trauma, neuro, and surgical cases. - Manage patients with trauma injuries such as blunt force and penetrating injuries, including abdominal, maxillofacial, orthopedic, and thoracic trauma. - Care for neuro patients experiencing conditions like ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors, seizures, traumatic brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. - Assist in surgical cases, including complex spine and abdominal surgeries, head and neck surgeries, and specialty OB/GYN cases. - Utilize advanced monitoring techniques such as advanced hemodynamic monitoring, massive transfusion protocols, ICP monitoring, brain tissue oxygenation, ventricular drains, and continuous dialysis. - Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
