  • Unit Accepts 1st time traveler (would prefer someone with experience)
  • Working in our Doan lab that gets specimens from our University Hospital OR--mostly benign lesions (95%) with some colon cancer resections and native livers. Some procurement for research, selecting tissue from POCs for karyotyping and biopsy grossing when staffing requires it. Depending on workload volumes, some cancer cases from another lab could be sent to Doan to be grossed, but the temp PA could focus on benign cases and biopsies.

        • Working mostly with benign lesions with occasional involvement in more complex cases.

          • Residency Declaration Form required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
          • Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
          • AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable). Letter of completion not acceptable.
          • *Travelers can renew ACLS, BLS, PALS at the facility. Instructions provided by Lead.
