Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Associate to join our team as a Prepared Foods Team Lead. This role is responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.Key Responsibilities

• Assist Team Leader: Collaborate with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, and assist in the analysis of sales reports and labor.
• Develop Store Layout: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Vendor Relationships: Maintain good vendor relationships, develop new vendor relations, and ensure all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
• Team Leadership: Work with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues, and function as the point person and departmental person in charge in their absence.
• Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, and direct Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Team Development: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
