what makes us Roche.The Senior Material Handler will perform the
physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving,
order fulfillment, storing, and distributing materials, parts,
supplies, and equipment, as well as supporting logistics areas.
This may include receiving and verifying incoming materials and
supplies, preparing bills of lading and shipping manifests, routing
shipments appropriately, moving materials within the
warehouse/distribution facility, filling customer orders, and
preparing orders accordingly.The opportunity
- You will provide on-the-job training and input on the training
of Department Operating Procedures and Standard Operating
Procedures.
- You will train Material Handling Technician I employees.
- You will have specialized knowledge in a particular area,
system, or equipment, with specific training and certification
required.
- You will adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and
techniques to meet the position's more complex requirements. Duties
will generally be routine but may include non-routine tasks.
- You will resolve most questions and problems independently,
referring only the most complex issues to higher levels, and will
be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the
quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily
actions.Who you are?Minimum qualifications:
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalency.
- You hold 1 year of work experience.
- You hold English proficiency required to maintain, ensure, and
promote safety requirements and procedures for required
machinery.
- You hold the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Preferred
qualifications:
- Autonomy, working with Minimum supervision
- Thorough understanding of the principles and applications of
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001
- Basic computer skills with competency using standard software
packages (Word and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
environment
- Competence in SAPRelocation benefits are not available for this
job posting.Pay TransparencyThe expected salary range for this
position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is 31 900,00
- 59 200,00 USD annual actual pay will be determined based on
experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other
job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus
may be available based on individual and Company performance. This
